Hello White Pine Middle School! My name is Joseph Tate. I'm the Physical Education teacher as well as the Head Football Coach for the Middle School. I am Nevada born and raised, I grew up just north of Ely in Wells. I have worked in a few different career fields before finding my way to teaching. I was a career firefighter/Advanced EMT for 5 years total and I have served in the Idaho Army National Guard for the past 7 years. My hobbies include fishing, hunting, golfing, and anything else that involves being outside and active with my friends and family. I am a strong believer that attitude and effort have a major impact on an individual's happiness and outlook on the day. I look forward to working with you and to having a productive year!
